I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences of the National University of Singapore. I run the BioEcon Lab. We develop (mostly spatial) bio-economic models to support evidence-based policy making in conservation science and biosecurity. Specific research topics of the lab are: tropical forests conservation, deforestation modelling, trade-offs between agriculture and ecosystem services and eco-health modelling. I will be visiting The University of Queensland with Yuchen and Will from the 16th to the 20th of May. I plan to meet with Oscar Venter, Hugh Possingham and James Watson under a new collaboration. I hope to be able to meet more researchers at CBCS and look forward to exciting discussions.
